Q100257: How to remove temporary/expired RLM licenses

Whether you've taken out a trial/demo license for one of our products and later purchased it and would like to remove any temporary/expired licenses from your machine before installing your purchased license key, or whether you've renewed your license maintenance and received a new license key and you would like to remove the expired versions from your machine before installing the new version, below you will find the exact locations in which our RLM licenses are usually installed.
When you install an RLM license for one of our products using the Product License Dialog or the Foundry License Utility, the license will be installed in one of the following locations depending on your operating system:
Mac OS X
/Library/Application Support/TheFoundry/RLM/
Linux
/usr/local/foundry/RLM/
Windows
C:\Program Files\The Foundry\RLM\
C:\ProgramData\The Foundry\RLM\
C:\Program Files (x86)\The Foundry\RLM\
NOTE: Trial/demo licenses taken out to test our products will also be installed in the above locations.
To remove any RLM licenses installed on your machine please delete any .lic license files from the above locations.
