SUMMARY
With macOS Tahoe (26) being the last macOS version to support Intel hardware, we are releasing a final version of Nuke 17.1 to help ease the transition for users towards future hardware updates.
As such, Nuke 17.1v1 is currently the last release planned that will officially support Intel hardware on macOS.
Windows, Linux and macOS Apple silicon will continue to get further maintenance Nuke releases for 17.1, and beyond.
MORE INFORMATION
As Apple has confirmed that macOS Tahoe (26) will be the final version to support Intel-based Mac machines, all future macOS releases will require Apple silicon exclusively.
To align with this transition, Nuke 17.1v1 is currently planned to be the last release to support Intel-based Mac machines. After this, Nuke updates for macOS will require Apple silicon hardware.
While we will not be providing ongoing, full-scale feature support or routine maintenance for Nuke on Intel-based Macs, future 17.1 maintenance releases may be considered for this platform to address any critical stability issues and blockers.
Nuke 17.1v1 for Intel-based Macs can be found separately from the main downloads page, here:

Any further maintenance releases in the Nuke 16.1 or 17.0 series will continue to support Intel-based Macs.
