DOWNLOADING EARLIER VERSIONS OF KATANA
Foundry is aware that Google Safe Browsing is currently flagging some of our older Katana installers as containing malware, blocking downloads in the Chrome and Firefox browsers. This impacts all versions released before Katana 7.0v3 and Katana 6.5v3 (March 2024).
As a workaround, we have established a secure FTP server to provide Katana installers for these older versions.
You can connect to this service using the following details:
Server: katanadownload.foundry.com
Port: 21 - TLS encryption is in use despite the plain FTP port, modern FTP clients should auto-resolve the TLS connection.
Username: download@katana.foundry.com
Password: Katana2024!
NOTE: In order to access our secure FTP server you will need to use your preferred FTP client and connect using the details above. If you don’t use an FTP client you should contact your system administrator for guidance.
