SUMMARY
When launching Nuke Indie/Non-Commercial or Mari Non-Commercial, you may receive a pop-up window stating that the software has expired:
Non-commercial warning:
Nuke Indie warning:
CAUSE
The issue is due to the Indie and Non-commercials build expiring after a certain time from when it is built/released. The expiry time depends on the version of the product:
- For Nuke 13.1 and below, the build expires after 90 days from when it is built/released.
- For Nuke 13.2 and above along with Mari Non-commercial, they have a build expiry of 6 months from when it is built/released.
After this time the functionality expires and that version will no longer run in Non Commercial or Indie mode and will display a warning.
