SUMMARY

This article will describe the process of removing the Flix 6 extension/plugin from Photoshop, on macOS or Windows setups.

MORE INFORMATION

The com.foundry.FLIX directory needs to be removed manually from one of the two locations listed below on your machine, dependant on which operating system you are running.

macOS:

Delete the com.foundry.FLIX folder located here:

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/

Windows:

Delete the com.foundry.FLIX folder located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\

Once the com.foundry.FLIX folder has been removed, upon restarting Photoshop, the Flix extension will no longer be installed/visible.

EXTENSION REINSTALLATION

If you wish to reinstall the extension at a later date, this can be achieved by launching the Flix 6 Client, navigating to File > Preferences > Third Party Apps > Photoshop, and clicking the Install button next to Install Plugins.
