SUMMARY

This article lists the environment variables that you can use with Modo to change the locations it uses for various settings and files.

NEXUS_CONTENT The path for the Content Directory.

NEXUS_ASSET

The path for the Asset Directory. Usually contained within the content directory.

NEXUS_KITS

The path for the Kit Directory. Usually contained within the content directory.

NEXUS_SAMPLE

The path for the Samples directory. Usually contained within the content directory.

NEXUS_USER

The path for the user folder, which contains the primary configuration file and the Configs and Scripts folders.
NEXUS_PREFS The path for the main configuration file. Usually contained within the User folder.
NEXUS_CONFIGS The path for additional configuration files. Usually located within the User folder.
NEXUS_SCRIPTS The path for user scripts. Usually located within the User folder.
NEXUS_LOGS The path for various log files, such as "commandLog.txt, netLog.txt, slaveLog.txt, and masterLog.txt"
NEXUS_TEMP The path where temporary files are written.

NEXUS_DOCUMENTS

The user's Documents directory.
NEXUS_USER_CONTENT A path to user content. Usually located in the "Documents" directory.
NEXUS_USERKITS A path to user kits. Usually located within the user folder.
NEXUS_LICENSE The path used to locate legacy Luxology license files.
