Q100224: Node Graph display artifacts related to OpenGL

Follow

SUMMARY

This article explains the cause of Node Graph display problems in Nuke, like no node names, floating node names etc.

MORE INFORMATION

If your Node Graph is displaying in an unexpected manner, such as no node names, floating node names etc then a likely cause for this is either the Graphics card you're using or the way in which you're running Nuke (e.g. via Remote Desktop), does not support OpenGL 2.0.

Here is an example of the DAG graphics artifacts you may experience:

If you experiencing the above we recommend that you try updating the driver of your graphics card and OpenGL to the latest version, and test Nuke without running it through a remote session.

If you are still seeing problems after performing the above step then please open a Support ticket and let us know the exact issue you are encountering and the troubleshooting steps you have taken so far.

For more information on how to open a Support ticket, please refer to the 'Using the Support Portal' article.
