The Nuke<>Mari bridge provides an easy way for fixing projection problems created in Nuke using the advanced tools found in Mari.

The following steps will show you how to install the Nuke<>Mari bridge when both applications are installed on the same machine.

To install the Nuke<>Mari bridge, follow these steps:

Linux

  1. Navigate to the Media/Scripts/Nuke sub-directory of the Mari application directory on your computer.

  2. Copy the contents of this folder to the /home/<login name>/.nuke directory.

 

Windows

  1. Navigate to the Bundle\Media\Scripts\Nuke sub-directory of the Mari application directory on your computer.

  2. Copy the contents of this folder to the \Users\<login name>\.nuke directory.

 

Mac OSX

  1. Navigate to the Media/Scripts/Nuke sub-directory of the Mari application directory on your computer.

  2. Copy the contents of this folder to the /Users/<login name>/.nuke directory.

     

Once the above has been done, the following items will appear in the Nuke UI when launched:

A Mari menu item:

 

 

A Mari tab in the Content menu. This is accessed by right-clicking on the toolbar and selecting Pane > Mari from the drop-down menu:

 

 

A Mari tab under Edit>Project Settings:

 

 

In the Mari UI, a Nuke menu item is now available:
