Q100237: Nuke crashes on script open or when adding a ScanlineRender node (Windows 7)

On Windows 7 Nuke instantly crashes when you attempt to open a script or when you use the ScanlineRender node.

In some cases, if you have the anti-virus/security software called AVAST installed on your system, it can cause this crash.

Determine whether you have the AVAST anti-virus software installed. If this is the case, completely removing it may fix the problem.

Uninstall the AVAST anti-virus software and then run Nuke. Then, try to open a script or use the ScanlineRender node.
